Hulk Hogan files medical malpractice suit

The famous wrestler Hulk Hogan can now be added to the long list of folks who has filed a medical malpractice suit.  Terry Bollea, Hulk Hogan’s real name, was having really bad lower back pain in 2009.  He visited 3 Tampa Bay physicians to get a diagnosis……all three of them recommended major back surgery.

The Hulk then learned about the Laser Spine Institute.  They recommended procedures that were minimally invasive with a quicker recovery time.  Hogan decided that was the route he was going to take.

According to the TampaBay.com article:

Hogan chose Laser Spine Institute, which he now says performed a series of ineffective procedures costing hundreds of thousands of dollars, according to a lawsuit filed Monday in Pinellas-Pasco Circuit Court.

Hulk Hogan claims he lost more then $50 million in income.

Do you think Hogan has a case?  Or do you think this is another bogus claim?  It’s tough to judge without the specifics……but I guess only time will tell.  We’ll be following this story and let you know how it pans out.
